Ingredients
  

  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbs maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup nut butter can sub any nut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbs dairy-free milk almond, coconut, etc
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or sub 1/2 a chopped chocolate bar
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325F
  • Whisk together the egg, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and nut butter
  • stir in almond flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  • fold in the chocolate chips/chunks.
  • Lightly spray an 8in cast iron skillet and pour the batter in, spreading evenly with a silicone spatula.
  • Place into the oven for 19 minutes and then switch to broil and bake for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown
  • enjoy with ice cream or all by itself!
