Pistachio Rose Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pistachio
- 1 tsp Cardamom Rose Dust DONA
- 1 tsp rosewater
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Microwave the butter for 40 seconds until just melted but not hot.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter with the sugars until well combined
- Stir in the vanilla, rosewater and egg until incorporated
- Add in the flour, baking soda, and salt
- Mix dough until just combined. Dough should be soft and a little sticky, but not overly sticky.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and pistachios.
- Scoop out 1.5 tbs of dough and place 2 inches apart on a prepared baking sheet with parchment paper
- Bake for 7-10 minutes or until the cookies are set. They will be puffy and appear underbaked in the middle.
- While still hot on the baking sheet, sprinkle the cardamom rose dust over the cookies for a pretty pink color.

Dona Cardamom Rose Dust is completely optional but adds a nice aesthetic to the cookie.
