The Original Smoked Trout Burger
The one and only recipe online for a smoked trout burger made with tinned smoked trout! We partnered up with Safe Catch Foods to create this delicious and EASY recipe that can be made, start to finish, in 15 minutes. Navid and I are still shocked at how tasty these burgers are!
Ingredients
- 1 can of smoked trout Safe Catch Foods
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried dill
- Avocado oil for cooking
- Optional Toppings:
- Spicy Mayo
- Pickles
- Sliced cheese
- Tomato
- Lettuce
- Red onion
- Burger Bun
Instructions
- Add ingredients together in a bowl and mix together with a fork.
- Using your hands, form two patties the size of your palm
- Heat the oil over medium heat, ideally in a nonstick.
- Fry the burgers for a few minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Assemble the burgers however you prefer!
