There is absolutely nothing like dipping a salty chip into freshly made guacamole. But let’s be honest, most of us don’t have the time to (or the want to) make it from scratch every time. That’s where Good Foods Tableside Guacamole comes in.
As a healthy food blogger, I have extremely high standards for everything I put into my mouth. Before I even buy a product, I check ingredients. I make sure there is nothing artificial added and that there are no sneaky sugars hiding. Good Foods got an A++ in this department.
Their ingredients: Hass avocados, tomatoes, garlic, onions, jalapeños, cilantro, salt and lime juice
Yeah, that’s literally it. It’s exactly how I would make it in my own kitchen. Except, somehow, it’s even better…Maybe because they have figured out the perfect ratios or because it was made for me. (Why does food always taste better when you don’t have to make it?)
Let’s also not ignore the fact that this guac has some SERIOUS chunks in it. It’s not some weird pureed version of an old avocado. You can tell Good Foods takes 100% fresh avocados, hand scoops them, adds in the garlic, onions, jalapeños, cilantro and tomatoes, then squeezes in lime juice and a dash of salt for the flavor and for the natural preservative effect (Nobody likes brown guac). They also package the guacamole using high pressure, so it can stay super fresh in your fridge unopened for a while.
Not only have they dominated the basic chunky guacamole game, they also took it up a notch with fun flavors like:
Southwest Guacamole: Why have I never thought to add black beans and corn to my guac? FREAKIN GENIUS. I served this on top of a southwestern style salad (lettuce, beans, corn, guac, brown rice, tomatoes) and wowowow, so good.
Sweet & Spicy Guacamole: This one has pineapple and poblano peppers added and HOT DANG, it’s good. This on shrimp tacos was a dream! I think I finished off the entire container by myself. Oops, sorry not sorry.
Spicy Guacamole: Out of all of the flavors, this one was actually my favorite. I am a huge fan of spice and the Serrano peppers in this guac did the trick. Try it on toast with a fried egg, you’ll thank me later.
Snack packs: Party for one? Packing guacamole to go just feels like a self care move. I love taking these in my lunch bag to put on top of a salad or cooked chicken breast, or as an afternoon snack with veggies (another option is with chips, I heavily recommend this).
Are you as convinced as I am that Good Foods makes the best guacamole? If the answer is yes, then you better run to the store and buy a container (or 5, you’ll want 5). If the answer is no, I dare you to try it once, I know that will convert you into a believer.
You can find Good Foods Guacamole at Target and Sprouts. I’ve linked their store locater here for you: STORE LOCATOR. This post is sponsored by Good Foods.
